Glass Blowing
Our skilled glassblowers can shape almost anything, either free hand or on lathes. The process supports the fabrication of parts that require integrated joints, material transitions, and finishing operations as part of a single build sequence.

Precision Bore Tubing
Precision Bore (or PB) tubing is SP Wilmad’s principal product and is manufactured to each industry’s strictest tolerances. Our stock of mandrels is extensive and, with our decades of experience, PB tubing can be produced for virtually any I.D., shape, or length.

Precision Grinding & Cutting
We use precision grinding and cutting to bring formed components to their final dimensions. Our concentric and centerless grinding methods control outside diameter and wall thickness with the same high level of accuracy as our internal diameter work.

Glass Tooling & Forming
Our in-house tooling and forming capabilities support complete apparatus, joints, and flanges from tube and rod stock. We offer vacuum silvering, glass-to-metal seals in a range of metals, and ultra-high vacuum jacketing and feedthrough assemblies.

Glass Treatment Processes
